To kick off our first month on deviantART, we are hosting a "Caputre the Flag" photo contest! All you have to do is caputre your nation's flag on film (or digital, as it may be). Be creative, as you will be judged on your composition, focus, and creativity. You can use submissions already posted.

Rules

ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING IN THE COMMENTS: "Submitted for *WI-deviants "Capture the Flag" contest"

Submit a note titled "Flag Contest" to *WI-deviants with a link to your submission to enter!

No limit on entries, but only 1 winning entry per deviant!

Deadline for entries is 9/20/2006

2nd place wins a 3 month sub!

1. Theme: DESTRUCTION!!
~now, i think you can gather from the username that this contest is open to macro shots only. which personally, i think will give a much cooler interpretation of the theme.
~Rules:
-Must be a new photo submitted on or after July 12, 2006
-Must be a true macro. If you're unsure if something is a macro, ask sooner rather than later.
-Must follow the theme. Look up if you forgot already...
-Only basic hue, saturation, color adjustments, minor touchups, cropping, borders, text, and other MINOR edits are allowed. If your photo is more of a photo manip than a real photo, it will be disqualified.
-Adhere to all of DA's rules.
-1 entry per person
-No changing your entry once submitted
~The prizes at the moment are a feature in the gallery, but donations are welcome, so I'm sure there will be more, so get on over there and show em what you got!JOIN HERE!!

2. Theme: DevID
~Rules:
-Must be no wider than 400px!!!!
-Must contain the club's name, Macro Photo, in some fashion
-Must be a new photo submitted on or after July 12, 2006
-Must be a true macro. If you're unsure if something is a macro, ask sooner rather than later.
-Must follow the theme. Look up if you forgot already...

~The prize is that it will be presented as the club's devID! The image of the club will be based on your interpretation! So GO JOIN IN!!
