i'll agree with you on that. A lot of people don't even look at the forums, let alone hunt deeply enough to find something they want. It's more organized, and cleaner. Instead of a topic titled LOOK HERE 4 CONTEST!! you get a title actually describing the contest. Not saying the contest forums are a bad place by any means, people who read those might never look here. So as you said, both is the best option, that way both sets of people see it.

If it was on the Contest forum rather than here I would have never seen it as I'm sure would be true for many others. Being in both places is the best option.
